Why do you need a Gold Farming Guide? That is the question that I hope to answer over the course of this article. The game World of Warcraft is played by millions of people on a daily basis. All of those players are striving for one thing, and one thing only. To be the best, to have the best gear, and to be the envy of all their friends. But being the best doesn’t come easy. Many of the most sought after status symbols in the World of Warcraft are hard to come by and cost thousands of gold. How are you going to get that gold?

There are three main ways you can go about getting gold in World of Warcraft. The first is by purchasing the gold from a WoW gold seller. This method is illegal and can get your account banned. Not only that, but it can cost you quite a bit of money too. I have seen gold cost anywhere from $10 per 1000 all the way up to $22 per 1000 depending on the server and current supplies. So not only are you risking your real world money on the reliability and security of this most likely chinese company, but you are also risking your account that you have worked for months, maybe even years on.

The second method is by playing the auction house. The auction house can be an easy way to make money if you know what you are doing. Addons like auctioneer can help you track trends in pricing and find steals on items that are currently over supplied in the marketplace. This method takes time and a careful eye, as well as the ability to not get bored combing the auction house for hours on end. If you can manage to keep yourself interested however, this is probably the single best method of making money in World of Warcraft. If your not sure where to get started, check out the Auction House Mastery Guide. It basically tells you exactly what to do!

The third and final method is Gold Farming. This method requires you to personally put forth the effort to actually go out and earn the gold yourself. While it is a totally legit way to go about getting gold, it can be very time consuming, and if you aren’t very experienced in the art of making money, it can be hard to figure out where exactly you should be going to earn the money. There are several ways to farm gold. You can either level crafting and use a skill like mining to mine ore and sell it on the Auction house, or you can run instances and disenchant junk items. You can also farm rare items but finding the places where they drop can be hard with a good Gold Farming Guide.

The third method is the easiest to learn and is almost impossible to mess up thanks to Hayden Hawke’s Secret Gold Guide. This is easily the best gold farming guide on the market and is also the most up to date. Check out the video on her site to see an example of the kind of money you can acquire using her gold farming techniques. She basically lays everything out for you.

Using a gold farming guide, you should never have to buy gold again. For the price of a few thousand gold, you can learn to make gold for yourself consistently forever. I recommend you invest in either the Auction house mastery guide or Hayden Hawke’s Gold Secrets Guide, depending on which one suits you the best.

Alliance Power Leveling Guides are a dime a dozen as of late. All it takes is a quick search on any World of Warcraft fan site and you will see at least one advertisement for one of the major players. These guides offer step by step walk-throughs of the game to help you power level your Alliance character from level one to level eighty in the shortest amount of time possible. The problem is, all of the hardcore WoW elite frown upon the use of these guides, but why? Is it because they feel threatened by the idea of relative noobs joining their raids with little to no knowledge of how to actually play? Is it because they feel like having a step by step walk-through defeats the purpose of the game?

I think the answer is a combination of these ideas. Any guild that is looking start running 25 man raids is going to have a hard time finding a full roster unless they are well established. These budding guilds will look to the LFG channel for new members to join their raid. The problem is, if that player used an Alliance Power Leveling Guide, they more than likely haven’t spent much time actually playing in groups or understanding the vast dynamics involved in end game raiding. Due to this fact, when these guilds recruit a member from LFG and they get the raid completely wiped, the experienced players get very frustrated. They blame the leveling guides for the lack of skill and group ability of most of the pick up group type players in the game. I think this is one of the major reasons that many players hate leveling guides.

Others will complain that using an Alliance Power Leveling Guide basically defeats the purpose of playing. A large part of the enjoyment of playing World of Warcraft is the exploration and the feeling of accomplishment when you complete a several quest chain and unravel one of the mini stories within the game. Players who use leveling guides however, tend to blaze through the game as fast as they possibly can, use map mods to find out exactly where to go, eliminating the idea of exploration, and more often than not, simply click through or ignore all of the story bits to get to level eighty as fast as possible. To many, if the game is just going to be a checklist for you to complete, you might as well not even play. I somewhat agree with this stance.

There is however, one argument for the players who choose to use an Alliance Power Leveling Guide. New people are finding out about World of Warcraft every day. If you are entering the game 2 or 3 years too late, and your friends are already level eighty, why should you have to spend months, playing by yourself, just to get to the point where you actually play with the friends you joined the game to play with in the first place. For many, the leveling grind to get to eighty will cause you to quit before you even make it halfway, and you will never experience end game raiding with your friends. For these players, I think leveling guides are a necessity. In this case, I would never look down on someone for wanting to get to a point where they could enjoy the game with their friends. It’s also useful if you are leveling alts to eighty but that’s an entirely different topic.

Let’s face, it grinding is boring. No one wants to spend their evenings killing countless mobs for the 200 or so XP they get for each, only to follow it up with yet more mob killing. Players want to explore new areas, find new quests, and get rewards for their efforts – grinding does none of those things and so WoW leveling guide were developed to help casual, everyday players leapfrog over these issues and find a way to truly enjoy the game. But WoW leveling guide are good for a lot more too – here are 10 reasons every player should have a WoW leveling guide in their arsenal.

Grinding is Boring – I think we’ve covered this one pretty well.

Finding Things Takes Time – Everything in the game is hidden away, a pinprick in the midst of the game’s multi-zone haystack. The best way to find what you’re looking for is with detailed directions from a WoW leveling guide.

Your Friends Are Waiting – Your friends are at Level 70 and waiting for you to join them in epic dungeons you have only seen pictures of. All the wishing in the world won’t get you there – a WoW leveling guide will.

Gold Doesn’t Make Itself – You just can’t make much gold at low levels. You need to boost your level and reach for end-game content where the real cash is and the best way to get there is with a WoW leveling guide.

Other Characters Are on the Horizon – No one wants to be stuck playing as the same character class and type when there are so many to choose from; a WoW leveling guide makes it possible to get new characters leveled up that much faster.

Five Words – Wrath of the Lich King – The new expansion pack is coming fast and that means 10 more levels and epic new quests. Will you be ready with a WoW leveling guide to get there and then through those levels to the new end-game content?

Quests Are Entertaining – Quests are much more fun than grinding or wandering. WoW leveling guide gets you through with all questing; what could be more fun than that?

Can Anyone Say Quest Rewards? – Along with having more fun, you get better items, more XP, and more gold from questing rewards. WoW leveling guide’s are built with this in mind.

You’re Not Getting Any Younger – How long is it going to take you to reach Level 70 without a WoW leveling guide on hand. What will you be doing in your life when that happens?

Camaraderie in the Text – There are thousands of other players who have used the same WoW leveling guides to get to level 70. Know that they have your back and millions have played through the same quests as you, making it possible to get where you need to be that much faster.

If these reasons are not enough for you to rush out and pick up a WoW leveling guide, just consider how long it will take you to enjoy even one of these things without one. It might seem like cheating, but when you’re dealing with an MMO, there is no such thing. The world is massive, the tasks are hard – get a bit of help and make your life easier with a WoW leveling guide.

How long do you really want to sit by and let your guild mates and friends tease you for still running around at Level 54 and not being any closer to the end of the game? They might think they are better than you, but with a WoW leveling guide, you can join them in no time flat and start enjoying that same late game content with the fervor they’ve been rubbing in your face for weeks.

What do you Need?

Other than a good WoW leveling guide, there isn’t much you need to make it to Level 70 in record time. Most players are able to get there within 175 hours with some getting there in as little as 150. Compare those times to players without a WoW leveling guide, coming in around 245 to 300 hours and you can see what kinds of benefits you are immediately getting when you play a game with the text of someone who’s been there and done that a dozen times before you.

Is It Hard to Complete?

Many new players think that a WoW leveling guide is too hard, that the top level players who wrote the guides littered them with too many obscure references and ridiculous expectations that new players just can’t keep up with.

The truth is much more friendly. Most WoW leveling guides are built with new players in mind, starting with the most basic quests in the game and walking players through them in a way that guarantees nearly anyone could complete the quests with ease. This isn’t just any instruction guide – it’s a tested, expertly constructed WoW leveling guide.

Will I Be Playing 10 Hours a Night?

Because of How World of Warcraft is set up, a WoW leveling guide guarantees that you can play for as long or as little as you like. You will never be expected to group up or enter an instance to get any of the experience you need and that means you can play at your own leisure without worrying about the demanding schedules and play times of guild mates or fellow players. You may decide that you prefer spending 2 hours online a night or maybe you play all day Saturdays. Whatever your play style, a WoW leveling guide is built for you.

What About When the Game Upgrades?

The best part about almost all WoW leveling guides is that when the game receives an upgrade, you will be able to easily and quickly receive an update to guide you through all that new game content. Hundreds of new hours of content does not mean you will be lost forever in a maze of quests and high level mobs. Even small patches result in changes and upgrades to most WoW leveling guide.

Essentially, for any player who wants to reach for the top of the game, a WoW leveling guide is a necessary tool in doing so. It helps you speed through levels, reach the end-game and join your friends for exciting new content in no time flat.

At character level 11 you should already know where Far Watch Post is in the Barrens. Go into the center of the Barrens and on the way find Grol’dom Farms. Then keep traveling until reaching the center of the Barrens at the Crossroads. Go to Zharg near the camp fence and get an easy quest to deliver meats to Ogrimmar via the flight master in the camp (Meats to Ogrimmar). Find the Crossroads flight master. Part two is actually taking a flight to Orgrimmar (Ride to Ogrimmar). When you find the Ogrimmar innkeeper and deliver the meats the innkeeper then gives you a letter to take back to Zharg, but first you need to find the Ogrimmar flight master (Doras the Windmaster Rider). Finding him is not hard since you found him on the way into Ogrimmar in the first place. He then gives you the final leg quest back to Crossroads (Return to Crossroads). Find Zharg back at camp and finish the quest.

Sergra, the Crossroads camp leader, wants you to kill enough Plainstriders, ostriches, to gain 7 beaks (Plainstrider Menace). Sergra then directs you to kill enough Zhevras to bring back 4 Zhevra hooves (The Zhevra).

At the Crossroads go to the alchemist troll Helbrim in the middle of the camp and get his delivery quest to Ratchet, a port south of Crossroads (Wharfmaster Dizzywig). You gain points for finding the goblin Dizzywig on the Ratchet wharf. Helbrim also asks you to find some mushrooms for him near the Barren oases (Fungal Spores). You find the mushrooms at the Lush Oasis southwest of Crossroads. You can take out some centaurs at the same time for other quests (Kolkar Bracers).

Gazrog, near the camp inn, wants you to kill 12 raptors for him for stealing his silver (Raptor Thieves).

Thork at Crossroads gives you a quest to fight the Razormane pigmen in the area. You are to kill 8 thornweavers, 8 waterseekers and 3 hunters (Disrupt the Attacks). The hunters are tougher because they also have a pet wolf with them.

At level 12 you go to your class trainer in Orgrimmar, Sorek, who directs you to seek out Veteran Uzzek at Far Watch Post, on the border of Durotar and the Barrens (Veteran Uzzek). Uzzek then wants you to go get 5 thunderlizard scales. Uzzek then tells you to find Thungrim Firegaze, and orc hermit on one of the hills in the Barrens (Thungrim Firegaze). Thungrim then challenges you to get his iron box back from Razormane thieves in Thorn Hill (Forged Steel).

In the meantime Sergra at Crossroads wants you to kill prowlers and gain 7 prowler paws after you completed your Zhrevra quest (Prowlers of the Barrens).

On the way west of Crossroads you find Rethgar’s base. He gives you a charge to kill Kolkar Centaurs while in the area (Kolkar Bracers).

Tonga at Crossroads asks you to find a source of power leaking from one of the Barrens’ oases (The Forgotten Pools). You need to get in the pool, go underwater and swim around until you find a bubbling crack in the bottom to complete the quest.

Level 13 requires 11,400 points. This is a grind level on anything that moves in the Barrens.

At level 14 Manrik at Crossroads wants you to find his wife lost in battle near Camp Tourajo (Lost in Battle). Manrik also hates the Bristleback Razormane near Camp Tourajo and wants you to kill enough to bring back 60 tusks. Do this while doing other quests on the Razormane (Consumed by Hatred).

The troll apothecary in Crossroads wants you to make a delivery to Zamah in Thunder Bluff. You have 45 minutes to complete the quest (Apothecary Zamah). Simultaneously, Tonga at Crossroads wants you to take seeds and place them in a fissure in the Stagnant Oasis, southeast of crossroads (The Stagnant Oasis).

The numerous quests continue with Tonga asking you to go kill snapjaw turtles in the Oases so he can examine them. He needs 8 shells (Altered Beings). Tonga then guides you to talk to the druid Hamaal Runetotem in Thunder Bluff (Hamaal Runetotem). Use a flight master to get there quick. He is in the Hall of the Elders. Hamaal then tells you to talk to Nara Wildmane (Nara Wildmane). Nara is in the same tent so this is an easy quest. Tonga also asks you to talk to Mura Runetotem at the Sepulcher. The Sepulcher is in undead land, and you will need to return to Ogrimmar and take the blimp to Tirisfal Glades to get to the Sepulcher (Mura Runetotem).

You find an empty keg among the loot of a razormane. The solution is in Ratchet (Chen’s Empty Keg) when you find the orc brewmaster. The brewmaster then gives you a quest to get some of Chen’s brew. You have to get 5 plainstrider kidneys, 5 prowler tusks, and 1 stormsnout horn (Chen’s Empty Keg 2).

You meet Sputtervalve the Goblin near the Ratchet flightmaster and he asks you to figure out the Venture Company samophlange. The Venture Company site is to the north of the Crossroads near the mountains (Samophlange).

At level 16 through 18 you can gain a couple hundred points just exploring the lands around Ratchet. The Goblin Mebok in Ratchet needs 5 raptor horns from sunscale scythclaws (Raptor Horns). Also you need to kill 12 pirates and 6 cannoneers south of ratchet (Southsea Freebooters). Gazlowe then wants you to take a ledger down to the dock (The Missing Shipment). The dockmaster tells you to return to Gazlowe with the response (The Missing Shipment 2). Doing so, you will start your Horde orc character in Valley of Trials with Kaltunk in front of you. Go speak to him. Kaltunk gives you the first quest (Your Place in the World) to find Gornak in the Orc Den. Gornak then gives you a training quest to kill 10 mottled boars (Cutting Teeth). By the time you have grinded on these critters you should be at level 2.

Outside the Den Zureetha Fargaze gives you a quest to go kill imps outside a cave to the north (Vile Familiars). Grind away on the imps and then return. You also gain points when you find your appropriate class trainer among the NPCs in the Valley. Afterwards Gornak charges you to grind on 10 scorpions outside the den (Sting of the Scorpid). While doing so, pick up the another quest from Galgar next to the vendor. He needs you to collect 10 cactus apples (Galgar’s Cactus Apple Surprise). You find the apples in cactus around the area near the scorpions.

Level 3 requires 1,400 points which means more grinding on hogs and scorpions while finishing the quests from Level 2.

Zureetha gives you a new quest as part of your move to Level 4. You are to go back in the cave near the imps and find the burning blade leader and kill him (Burning Blade Medallion). Afterwards go straight out east from the Den and find Foreman Thazzril who needs his peons bonked back to work (Lazy Peons). Finally find Hana’zua almost dead under a tree asking you to kill a giant scorpion (Sarkoth). Grind on scorpions as well.

As you move to level 5 Hana’zua asks you to tell Gornek to send help (Sarkoth 2). Afterwards grind on imps.

Level 6 requires 3,600 points and it is your first trip out of the Den. Zureetha sends you to the troll village on the east coast (Report to Sen’jin Village). On the way you talk to Ukor outside the Valley of Trials and take his bag to Razor Hill (A Peon’s Burden). Going back the way you came afterwards you find Sen’jin Village.

Two quests are given by the Sen’jin Village chief. Both are on the islands to the east of the village (Minshina’s Skull) (Zalazane). Find the skull and defeat the troll, Zalazane. You can also get a quest to get Makura crawler items on the beach (A Solvent Spirit). When done then head back to Razor Hill to the west (Report to Orgnil). Finally, grind away on scorpions, taillashers and Echo Isle trolls.

For Level 7 you need to grind on makuras, crawlers, taillashers, Durotar tigers, and trolls, all on Echo Isle.

At Level 8 you are charged by GarThok of Razor Hill to kill 10 sailors, 8 marines, and Lt. Benedict of the humans (Vanquish the Betrayers). You find them in the fort south of Razor Hill. Take Proudmore’s letter looted off of Lt. Benedict to GarThok (The Admiral’s Orders). GarThok then directs you to take the orders to Vol’jin in Orgrimar (The Admiral’s Orders 2). At the same time GarThok charges you recover 3 gnome tools from a shipwreck in the water east of the human fort (From the Wreckage). Grind on scorpions and wild pigs while traveling back and forth.

At Level 9 you need 6,500 points. You must kill Razormane pigmen at their outpost north of Razor Hill. Kill 4 scouts, 4 quilboar, 4 battle, and 4 dustrunners. Discover where there outpost is and gain again (Encroachment). On the way from Razor Hill to Ogrimmar, you meet Rezlak who needs 5 bags of goods recovered from the nearby harpies (Winds in the Desert). You will find them among the harpies nearby.

At level 10 Rezlak then wants you to kill more harpies to make sure his supplies don’t get stolen again (Securing the Lines). They hide in drygulch ravine. Gain for finding the dungeon and finishing the mission.

Inside Ogrimmar the orc chief Thrall in the chamberoom has you find spies in his kingdom (Hidden Enemies). Gain points finding Skull Rock to the east of Ogrimmar and for finding the traitor in the cave. Thrall then has you test a warlock inside the Drag for loyalty (Hidden Enemies 2). Gain points for convincing Neeru you are part of the Burning Blade cult. From Ogrimmar head south down the river to the west of Ogrimmar and find the bridge crossing. Discover Far Watch Post.
